Breathing God
When we awaken, let it be early in the morn. Then the minds of
Men are still deep in slumber and silent still. The pulse of Nature
quickens with the rising sun and the hour is magical. A deep
nourishing in-breath gathers the whisperings of the soul and
beyond pulling forward the dawning Light. We pause, and in our
gaze towards the golden orb, we find its reflection beneath our
own breath as a river flowing blue responds to the Sun itself.
Upon the out-breath, a great wave of being is released as from an
ocean bringing all to shore with generous overlapping waves. It
does not end. Nor do we.
When we breathe God, all must surrender to the past and willingly
resurrect with each new inhalation. Faith is in the power of the
present and the Presence of God. It is in the allowance of Miracles.
Breathing God is an allowing of the open miracles of Creation to
fill the lungs of Spirit, as we inhabit our mortal experience. We
become causal. Love, Itself aligns heaven and earth. If we fear, we
can synchronize ourselves by pausing in the spaces between the
rhythms of the breath. Here we hold on or pass by too quickly to
find its mystery. It is unsupported by the known and we have
spent lifetimes building bridges to avoid this naked space.
Yet in this same and delicate place lies a realm of miracles. It is the
threshold to the unknown. By trusting, and allowing the
submerged illusions to rise and disappear in the mist we learn to
pause. We allow ourselves float in the unknown.
Only by risking this float in the unknown can the stillness allow
the subtle promptings and motion that abides beyond the balance
of two to emerge. Then, as though a force triune entered with a
burst of wind, the Breath breathes throughout.
Like a bird swept into the air, suddenly freed into flight, the soul
breathes forth and utters word and sound as a calling to its own.
All into might. Leave the darkened night. Take Courage as your
sight and step towards the light.

"Rise each day a newborn thought
Something fresh, untangled and
untaught.
Let it wander, turn and roam;
it needs no post nor worldly home,
until it stills and calls to nest
within the heart that began the quest."

Rain-cloud Revival
January 29, 2009
What remains steady after a rain-cloud bursts onto the scene of
life circumstances, unannounced, without warning and fallen with
a grand and full salute to the natural laws of gravity- is the pool of
fallen waters; that heaviness of heart that we wake to after an
unexpected event, or loss stirs the landscape and carves out a new
mark to show the shift of the times.
There is neither wrong nor right to a rain-cloud. It is a natural part
of life. It nourishes the earth just as it challenges us to stir within
and feel deeply that which may have become parched from lack of
attention or visibility. Growing things become known again. We
awaken from the cool waters and are touched to the core.
Most importantly, we must remember that it is the Core that must
revive, even as the sun rises each day. We must know that
regardless of change, transition and the temporal nature of life
around us, at Core, is a steady permanence, which sustains and
nourishes all parts of our being if we allow. At times such as this,
we must draw strength, the fire of our essential nature and clarify
our vision that it brightens in alignment with the Light at the
center of our being.
Rain-cloud pour. The waters, their nature, nor the direction of the
wind do not matter. I wake to admire the miracles of this natural
world and its cycles, the manifestation of its nature. I accept the
pool of fallen waters and lift all heaviness of heart that I may
reveal the new shapes and images, which have been revealed. I
surrender the tears of my own waters readily and make way for
tomorrow. My part in allowing the new sky to reveal itself is to
allow the waters to clear. I do not expect them to part. I do not
command them to go away. They have their mission and will find
the places that thirst. I, at Core ask only to see, to Witness and
bear Light forward as the Sun would after a summer storm.

Soul powered living!
The Soul is our Core self, born of Love, the essence of the
Divine. It’s potency emerges as its Nature manifests through
us, as us and within our being. This inborn Nature is able to
create, is causal and is motioned forth by the laws of love. It
is held by courageous action and bold intent. We can only
serve, yield and find humility in its midst. Our lives can be
lived with deeper purpose and known by greater truth. The
Power of the Soul has emerged.
Surrender to Love
Feburary 13, 2009
If I love, there is more that I must surrender than my heart. There
are more words that I must utter than “I love you” and far more of
myself that I need to regard than what I may have imagined love
would invoke. Love is a miracle, a mirror, and a chance to explore
the sacred in us and in one another.
The challenges of loving in a relationship bring us face to face with
our core fears not once, but again and again and in many guises.
We choose how we will face these and in those choices, determine
many of the patterns of the relationship. We can even interrupt it;
we can destroy it. We can build despite fear and grow, both finding
healing through in one another.
Togetherness in Love is more than a “twosome”. Count with me.
There are really five. The third presence is the projection of “us”, a
very real energy that forms as two worlds combine. It gathers and
form a personage of its own with boundaries, expectations, needs,
hopes, shared visions, a common language and its own forms of
communication and levels of intimacy. This is the relationship that
we experience the most because it is what we build together.
There are more. We each have a relationship with the other person
as a mirror of our own shadow selves. We learn by seeing the parts
of ourselves that we cannot embrace from the inside. We are
offered the chance to heal and love ourselves by loving our own
imperfections in the “other”. Usually we don’t see this. We see the
other as wrong, lost, deluded, self absorbed, self-sabotaging or a
host of other flaws. Perhaps they do indeed have these qualities.
We position ourselves apart in judgment and separate from what
we do not like in the other. It causes love to shake in its place and
warning bells to sound.
The mirror must be dusted off with compassionate and caring self-
awareness. Pride needs to be surrendered as we take a second look
and question if in any part of ourselves we carry the same injury,
or tendency. If so, let our work begin with self-inquiry and inner
healing before striking out at the other with an emotional reaction
that is actually an inner action of our own.
This only asks that you be true to yourself and must be, before
you can be true to another. It is very simply put. You must know
the truth of yourself before you can give it to another. Your
“mirror” experience will define much of the tone and temperament
of the relationship that you experience together.
What of the sacred? How can love be host to miracles?
Love endures much. It asks that we forgive, learn patience, cease
judgment and embrace change, even walk into the future without
knowing Love’s end. Human love is subject to human challenges
and we are not perfect. We cannot insist on a guarantee for a
perfect ending. We cannot insist on conditions that will never
include suffering or pain. Life and suffering seem part of this
temporal world. Much as we try to create ideal conditions and
hold onto peace and security, it seems the nature of this world
that life shifts as soon as you become used to a steadiness in the
path. Perhaps it is we that must become the steady ones.
Perhaps it is our way of Loving that must become steadfast and
deeper. People that we love may pass away. Reasons and
Conditions, which make not make any sense at all to us, may lift
them out of our world and into another without warning. We do
not have the control that we assume that we do. There are larger
patterns that live amongst and within us with a seeming purpose
and will that we may not be able to fathom.
A time comes when we realize that we must surrender love, even
the love for a special beloved one to all things deeper and known
only by higher purpose. You may ask that it bypass the worldly
“five” even though that is all that you have ever known and
experienced this Love to be. They have the capacity to merge and
become as the five points of a star each in harmony with the other.
Balanced so, they create new light. In such unison, healing begins.
You may lay this Love upon the alter that you may call God’s
Presence and surrender all that may hinder it, ask that it grow only
towards its goodness, its own holy calling. Be willing to release
ownership knowing that love nor people can be held, nor owned
yet all must be freed. Proclaim God as the true source of all Love
and breath in deeply from that source.
Know that the miracle of Love is that we are all “In Love” always.
We are born in the state of Love and possess the miracle of love. It
is with us at all times. We can share it with others. When we
surrender what we “want and desire”, we make room for the True
Dweller in our Hearts to be present. Welcome that. Surrender to
Love.

Oh, Sunshine
February 20, 2009
If I believe that spring were here I could feel the slant of the sun
upon my face. I would know all hope is reborn in me; all dreams
take flight in the new day’s light.
If I let myself feel and wander through each care that now I toss
away, all things become ephemeral-they lose their roots, they will
not stay.
All things known are turned in the dawn as flowers stretch to face a
rising sun. Never before have they parted from the shadow of each
original one.
If I believe that all were new as a day that parted from the year, I
would gladly walk forward without any fear. Smiling forward I
might see some vision of what I am meant to be.
Oh, sunshine light the way for me and greet me as I lean into your
grace. I pray to be a courageous heart that walks within and
towards your face.

Surrender to the Souls Decree
Sunday March, 22, 2009
There are times when I feel that I must allow all that I wish, dream,
desire and thing that I “know” to pass by as if taken by a shift in the
wind that gathers what I hold onto and tosses them gently like
dozens of meadow flowers and scatters them throughout the grasses
leaving a colorful sprinkling of colors as the only indication of what
was once my tightly held and beloved world of “haves” and
“expectations”.
I theorize that every once in a while whether we do it voluntarily or
involuntarily, we are swept into the experience of a full life cleanse
and it may shake us to the core, or we can recognize the eastern
winds as a sign of new times asking that we lay down yesterdays
terms, conditions and holdings; pleading with us to peel away the
layers of desire and wish which have become heavy garments that we
wear- which in fact have begun to “wear us” instead. Life becomes
weary of and in itself and nature compels renewal. Like a caterpillar
seeking to shed its skin, a learned dynamic of our own seizes the
reigns and longs to shed what we no longer need, even if we do not
yet know it, feel it or believe it.
Shedding almost always brings forth doubt and fear. Our ego has a
first response team that is sent out to see what is shaking the terrain.
Noticing that some of its own ideas and beliefs are being challenged
it rejects and challenges any signs of change or surrender and sends
out “decoys” to try to subvert the mission or appease it into a state
of slumber or quietude. Ego, “Come now, things are not so bad, you
know that you only need to focus on what you want and it will come
to you; you deserve it.” “You should have whatever you set your
mind to, just try harder and stay positive”. “You can’t let obstacles
stop you, keep pushing forward.” “You deserve what you desire, no
one can take that away from you”. That team has some good talk!
Can you get past that? All the words of inner dialogue in the world
will not offer the simple release of surrender when you allow a pause
and space to reflect what is beyond words and captures only by the
heart. It feels like a stirring. It is motion, energy, pure energy that
longs to emerge and free itself from the bondage of locked thought,
fears and ego holdings. When we allow this energy to stir we tap its
purest form which is a creative force born of Love.
This is the pure energy that is motioned at pivotal times of change in
one’s live. We need not be afraid of it or of the change that it
compels. It is filled with miraculous codes that have possibilities that
we cannot even fathom. It is, in pure form, our own original energy,
minus the imprints that we placed upon it. It longs to be free once
again that it may reform according to the Soul’s design and the will of
your True Heart’s Need.
Surrender is an act of faith in a higher decree, a pure knowing that
surpasses mind and recalls that our source is deeper, more
miraculous and intimately close to our Truest Calling and need of the
hour.
Absorption of Love
Monday, April 6, 2009
In silence, I call to Love. The love, which is invoked, abides
beyond the human heart. It lies beyond the essence of experience,
concept or desire. It is that which has the substance of the divine
as its nature.
Its presence is inborn, dwelling as a guardian, creator and source
of a myriad of esoteric patterns, which set manifestation into
motion. As my soul gives life to my body, this Love is the creator
and sustainer of soul and form alike as a singular core, which
reflects, absorbs and reaches to the Eternal One.
It flows through, in and throughout my being. It feeds positive
motion and compels magnetic attraction of all that is like itself. It
is the manifestation of the life force and breath of God within me,
as me illuminating its life as one through out all creation.
As I inhale the light of God I become part of the flow of all
goodness, as a golden drop would be absorbed into the sunshine
and radiance; the bliss of warm absorption into Love unbound by
concept, fear, or mortal shell, falls into the depth of a me that I no
longer recognize.
It is a freedom, as it were a winged soaring self with no limitation,
able to dive into the Heart of an unknown Universe that beckons
with benevolence, mercy and unspeakable words of Love. I the
silence of my ego/fear self, I call to Love for under no other
conditions can it come forth.
My human heart may not be walled or protected lest I close the
door upon the dwelling place of that which bears greater gifts. I do
long to soar and to dive with open arms into this deep sky that
asks nothing but requires All.
We have no “thing” to gain in this world, which is so temporal. We
are not born to “spot, seize and hold”. Life teaches us that we
must constantly be willing to let go and seek instead that which is
permanent, abiding truth within ourselves.
We are tossed and thrown and tested until we are forced to look
for peace as well as Love in the place where it must be served first.
Then all else flows as a result. If we seize, let us seize the moment
to call to Love. It will answer.
A Thousand Breaths But One
Dream, Doer, Keeper of the past; all would vanish; nothing
would last.
A Tender Heart would find my own; we would sway with the
winds of spirit free
And hold dearly the bounty of Love’s sweet core key.
Happiness motions my dancing feet as they are swept into
flow with bounty so sweet.
With joy, with hope, I gaze into your face, my heart,
absorbed in love given to keep.
How nearly I did fall with the weight of pain to deep to bear,
I would leap
into an abyss that darkened with every hollow breath and
pulled me farther as I wept.
Turning, pulling, filling my shadow with the substance of
will,
I found that I could emerge, survive, and find myself still.
This Love that lifts and motions me through is something
fragile, something new.
I fill myself with a Thousand Breaths and fire into the future
save one.
That I hold as the ever Key passage. It is now, this moment,
the first, the last and the only, save what is done.
