Love Rush
Love does not fall away. It does not lessen with time. It does
not cease. The heart, our most tender and mysterious cavern of
dwellings absorbs all, places all within and names each as safe,
enduring, true or not.
We want to be open and steady. The heart may have a will of its
own. It is mortal. It has absorbed memories which stay as
etchings in its walls telling the stories of the past as perceived
by the viewer. These colored by time and enhanced with images,
which reflect similar images, offer a vivid glimpse when given
the light of conscious attention. They prefer the safety of
darkness. In the cool valves of darkness they rest, untouched-
seemingly unknown.
Love floods the tunnels, rivers and vistas of the heart. We feel it’s
“lightening”. For a time, the etchings on the wall of memories are
awash with a force stronger than they. Yet, as a rush of incoming
waters like the morning tide, it follows the cycle of nature and
recedes in balance to find its midpoint. It has not fallen away.
Love rushes in like crashing waves into a parched land. It feeds,
nourishes and restores. Yet, even as nature provides a
magnificent spring storm to the waiting seedlings, it pulls back
and time pauses as the natural order allows individuation to
proceed. The seed must not drown. It must become itself.
And so we must as well. With the nourishment of Love we must
not thirst and be zealous in desire for it in order to thrive. We
take the blessings of its nourishment and begin a renewal. We
allow an individuation of new aspects of our own being, as in a
birth in becoming.
Love does not fall away. It graces the receiver with its’
permanent imprint. The sensation of its incoming rush may not
duplicate. It will be an ever-changing experience because we are
different each time Love enters. It is we that fall away.
We fall into love. We allow ourselves to open to fall into the
openness of Love and into Presence of Love. We lose our fear of
falling. Then we find love everywhere.

My Soul Falls Forward
When our hearts and minds ache for wisdom and strength;
when we long for immersion with Love and long for
experience, faith in demonstration and ache for a deepened
understanding and witness to the Presence of the Sacred
Eternal Creator we turn to prayer. If our plea arises from an
acute trauma to our personal sojourns we fall forwards with
a certainty in the Presence. As one would fall to their knees
and bow the head to the ground, our impulse is to
immediately shed all that separates us from creation and we
ache to join with all miracle of creation as we call out from
the depth of soul and wandering heart.
We fall to our knees. Tears may flow downward yet our gaze
is upwards, outwards and inwards to a greater Power, a God
that we fathom as our Creator and Knower of All-even of this
singular moment in the Vast Universe.
In the moments of reaching out, or deeply in to whisper the
callings from our Hearts and Souls there is a certainty that
one is not alone. The energy that pours out in prayer feels
received. A sacred bond has formed. A knowing is
experienced as the portal of perception shifts into an
experience that is transparent of personality, ego and fear.
The individual energies of self now create a pathway to
receive and reunite with the soul and Creative Eternal
Essence, as one would weave slowly and with sacred intent a
ray of golden threads which allow emergence, transmission,
reception and creation to offer construction of the possible
self, the destiny of soul. We are prompted to recall that
which is True, unite with the Love and Power of Essence that
calls for us even when we stopped listening.
When we listen, appeal, tread gently upon the silence to
core or gloriously sound our way to the still-point that guides
us to the entry. Prayer is a sacred act. It allows us to step out
of our personal contrasted selves and as “more than this”, we
surrender our identity as the power and creator and seek
something deeper and more profound to be the intelligence
and divine Power that has Presence. Doing so, we make
room in our hearts to receive and reveal the response of the
nature of the Divine Presence.
Prayer of this nature is stirring and brings one to the points
of vulnerability because it must pass fear, anger and all
“self” created “truths” that it can reach the Heart. Several
deep breathes. Placing my hands over my heart I know that I
have been heard. Like a child that has visited a place of
solace, I desire stillness-a pause wherein to let go of all that I
held on to. This and many other promptings are a beginning.
Prayer from the surrendered self is that which soars beyond
the confinements of all that separates us from God. In this,
we commune and the only tears are those that rise upwards
in the mists of transmutation from earth to heavenly
dwelling.
The journey of my tears is neither to an empty vessel nor to
an ocean of absorption. They carry the words from the deep
heart of my self and soul seeking reunion with the Keeper of
my True Spirit; that which resides, is core and connects to
Core in my Deep Heart. It breathes into my own, as my Own
and holds me in embrace as Creator to beloved.
Stay, I think. Stay with me now. Let my sojourn caste itself in
hallowed bow before the miraculous chance to choose “now”.
I long to be bold, to feel the presence of God. Strength had
tendered my heart and surrendered my all. This humble
place holds a different kind of grace. It compels all shadows
that I must face.
It moves through fear with grander pace, ferocity and roots
run deep. It finds the hidden possessions of the heart and
demands that they surrender their keep. It holds a mirror to
the mind and asks that all fall clear. Even when I think of the
day, I am mindful that it may not have really happened that
way.
Surrender is the call, it echoes from within. Its directive
comes from the Deepest Heart longs to reside in expansive
Core. Love or Fear; only one can be Master. How I value the
day when all of me is given with a soaring grace; turned,
returned and blessed upon its way again for the unimpeded
flow of sacred love will create, reflect itself and spiral
outward in divine and free manifestation of its original
intent.
Prayer will be a pause to offer gratitude, a moment to
witness the emergence of the sacred. My fall forward will not
be to the ground because I will already experience that I am
the ground, I am the impulse “forward” and I am the Eternal
Essence that “houses” the Source of all Love in infinite
measure. I will honor that Source, flow in immersion and
reflection as the prayer manifest of once a being. My soul
falls forward and finds itself in the becoming of Love’s
Absorption.
